Spring Jackets- Trenches and Anoraks

I broke the zipper on my winter coat last weekend, which was quite unfortunate because according to the groundhog we still have two weeks of winter left. Long story short, there are no more winter coats in the stores, but a preponderance of cute, lightweight spring styles to fall in love with.

Military inspired from J Crew

Automatic sunshine from Anthropologie

Ruffled collar details from Ann Taylor Loft

Turquoise pop from ModCloth

Classic twill from Toast

Army green anorak from Gap

The first of the Thing-A-Day pattern series are up in my shop, I chose to lead off with the yellow ovals in honor of this glorious sunshine pouring in onto my desk. I also wanted to let all of you know how much I appreciated your feedback and encouragement throughout the Thing-A-Day experience by letting you in on a special offer.
