Indigo



For centuries, cultures from all over the world have used the flowers of the indigo plant to dye textiles.  Different species of the plant produce different results, ranging in hue from cobalt to cyan to ultramarine.
I find the combination of white and blue to be beautifully timeless, simplistic and evocative of a cloudy sky. Seems I am not the only one:
