Lula Aldunate

Lula Aldunate' work space in Argentina is featured on Design Sponge today, and it is full of amazing patterns and prints. I skipped on over to her website, and loved her interior styling work as well as her posters and pillows.

All photos from Lula's Website

Buenos Aires is number one on my travel to-do list, and Lula's work really embodies my ideas of the sultry Paris of the west. The bottom image is a collage that reminds me of a tango dress. So romantic and mysterious!

You can see more of her work here or check out her house sneak peak on Design Sponge here.

Thursday Hilarity- Helen Dardik

Print by Helen Dardik available on Etsy

I have been working insane hours for the past couple of weeks, as a freelancer sometimes things are feast and sometimes they are famine. Anyway, I am hoping that this hilarious print will keep you interested in my not-so-interesting-as-of-late blog. I wish my cats were drinking milk out of saucers instead of trying to completely remove the carpet from our bedroom.

Littlephant By Camilla Lundsten

I love the cut paper look of this work by Camilla Lundsten out of Stockholm. After working for many different clients, including Ikea and BRIO toys, she now runs Littlephant where she designs posters,  books and other items featuring these fun characters.

Even though I am somewhere close to 30 years old, I always find myself drawn to work that is probably intended for children, it is so colorful and fun I cant help but smile!

Anthropologie Best in Show

If you live in the New york City area, may I recommend that you take a little field trip to Rockefeller Center to see these puppies? (and kitties, and elephants and foxes, oh my!)

Here is more information from Anthro's Facebook Page:
"this installation features canine, equine and wildlife paintings, photographs, sculptures and miniatures made by world-renowned artists, as well as the in-house talents of Anthropologie. What's even more exciting about this particular exhibit is that each piece will be auctioned off at a forthcoming event in support of Main Line Animal Rescue. "
What an awesome installation, and an awesome cause!
